Hello there! A bit soon, I know, but welcome to my Blogpost № 3!
In this post, I’m going to look at how I plan to proceed and the methods I’d use to do it. First of all, I start with the most time-consuming stuff. Since I’m not a person who likes to find out information in person rather than read about it and since I like to write stuff, I thought of a way to try to combine reality and virtual reality into a kind of full-fledged research.
Written information has to be written by someone. To write them, he has to find them out. To find them out, he has to experience them, he has to look for them, he has to experience them. And that’s how I want to take it. Start from the very beginning, also because the information I need is scant. It would be very difficult to do a real-world survey of the mountains with the information about the mountains in question having to find out by walking on them. It begs the question, then, how to make this happen, no matter how complicated? The answer is the virtual video game world!
My process, which I’ve already begun, is that in a video game I do the same as I would in a real-world situation. I walk the mountains, gain knowledge, write down information. In this procedure in a video game, I try to get as close to reality as possible using the possibilities offered by the game. I arrived at the location where I wanted to begin my research. I bought some supplies at the local general store, prepared important equipment such as warm clothes, a light source, and the things needed to build a campsite. I also bought a gun and some ammunition in case of self-defense (the mountains in this game are really not friendly). And with that, my journey began. You will learn the rest later!
Another resource I would like to use is the “soundscape” which was the subject of today’s seminar. I decided to try to make a video/photo presentation from every mountain location that I can walk through, and to put “ambient sounds” in the background; sounds that can be heard in these locations that raise the atmosphere to a higher level. Or so I hope.
Thank you for reading!
As always, I’m adding some pictures… But in this case, these are pictures from my own journeys. On some of them is my friend, who wanted to join me.

Good, I like your reflection on the process of data collection! Curious to see more soon.
